A former chair of the Society of St Gregory, Alan Smith has been a pastoral musician for more than 40 years. As editor, his publications include Psalm Songs, volumes 1-3 (with David Ogden, Cassell, 1998) and Glory to God – New Music for the Mass (with Peter Jones, Decani Music, 2011).

Alan's most recent project – co-edited with David Ogden – is The RSCM Book of Psalm Songs, published by the Royal School of Church Music.
